Grožnjan
Historically, Grožnjan is a medieval town with a rich and varied past, reflecting the influences of numerous cultures that have shaped the Istrian peninsula. However, in more recent times, Grožnjan has become widely known as a hub for artists. Following the town’s near abandonment after World War II, it was revitalized in the 1960s, with artists taking up residence in its numerous abandoned buildings.
