Angkor Wat, located near Siem Reap in Cambodia, is one of the largest and most magnificent religious monuments in the world. Originally constructed in the early 12th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu by the Khmer King Suryavarman II, it later transformed into a Buddhist temple.
Bayon
Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple located in the ancient city of Angkor Thom in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII, it serves as the state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist king.
