Interior
The interior of the National Museum is a breathtaking, neo-Renaissance masterpiece that feels more like a royal palace than a museum, featuring a soaring, glass-domed central hall and sweeping, monumental marble staircases lined with statues of famous Czechs. Recently restored to its former glory, the massive exhibition halls showcase millions of natural history, archaeological, and historical artifacts that span from the prehistoric era to the modern day, including everything from giant meteorites to ancient mammoth skeletons.
