Antarctica, the southernmost continent, is known for its vast ice sheets, extreme cold, and unique wildlife such as penguins and seals, as well as being a key location for scientific research and international cooperation under the Antarctic Treaty.

Vinson Massif
Vinson Massif is the highest mountain in Antarctica, rising to an elevation of 4,892 meters (16,050 feet). It is located in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, overlooking the Ronne Ice Shelf near the base of the Antarctic Peninsula.
